Shibori is a Japanese term for several methods of dyeing cloth with a patter by binding, stitching, folding, twisting, compressing it, or capping.

There is an infinite number of ways one can bind, stitch, fold, twist or compress cloth for shibori. It as been used in this collection to work in harmony with the type of cloth used.

The technique has been used to get the desitred pattern, with the characteristics of the cloth being dyed. Also, different techniques are used in conjunction with on eanother to achieve even more elaborate results.

The collection pregresses and climaxes with ingenuity drenched in his designs. With Resort wear in immaculate shade of summer hues, Rahul allow all to journey with them to feel tranquil, yet inclusive

Prerna bharadwaj

Designer Prerna's collection for this spring summer was named evolution of thought. The collection depicted the emotions of a human like hope, fear etc. The designer worked on coin technique which was seen evidently on most of her garments. The use of drapes was also a prominent feature of the collection. The mix of colors gave the flowy silhouettes a very elegant look. Intricate embroideries and frills were also a part of the techniques that were used in the collection. 

Abhi Singh

Abhi Singh collection at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring- Summer 2013 was inspired by the monolithic skyscrapers. The garments were sharply contoured and bold.

The outfits consisted of many drapes and folds with long tassels.Colours ranged from reds to yellows, aubergines to greys.
